Colonel Harland Sanders Charitable Organization


Saskatchewan’s newest and most vulnerable patients have received a tremendous gift from an international donor.  During their lifetime, Colonel Harland Sanders and his wife, Claudia, believed that with success in business comes an opportunity to share that success by supporting institutions which make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than themselves.  With a $1,000,000 contribution that will be designated to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the new Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan, the Colonel Harland Sanders Foundation illustrates its enduring commitment to children’s care.  The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan proudly receives this donation as part of the provincial Children’s Hospital Capital Campaign.  More>>

Knights of Columbus (Council 1517)


The Knights of Columbus (Council 1517) a provincial service group, holds an annual “Dream Lottery” that benefits numerous communities across Saskatchewan.  In addition to the $200,000 this group has already raised from previous year’s lotteries, they are committing a further $500,000 to the Children’s Hospital Capital Campaign for new provincial children’s hospital.  The Knights of Columbus believe greatly in the need for a children’s hospital that focuses on children’s health and keeping the family-unit together in stressful times of illness or injury.  This generous donation is not only inspiring but a shining example of Saskatchewan people helping Saskatchewan people.  More>>

John and Sonya Remai

When it comes to giving, John and Sonya Remai believe in “giving from the heart” and sharing with the communities and organizations that brought them success.  They have a shared a passion for Saskatchewan and the future of this province.  However, they always recognized that there are needs and challenges of people and organizations that must be met.  John and Sonya Remai feel the children of Saskatchewan have waited for their own hospital for a long time and they deserve a facility dedicated to kids – for any sick child, this hospital can’t open soon enough.   Their donation of $1,000,000 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation further confirms their commitment to the children and the families of this province.  More>>
